Studies by the University of Kumamoto Department of Medicine revealed that Rooibos contains 50 times more anti-oxidant than green tea, which is equivalent to 40 times that of Oolong and 120 times of wheat tea. This not only delays aging and improving the immune systems, but also means Rooibos helps to lower cholesterol in the body and thus reducing or preventing the hardening of the arteries.
